Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-12.

What we collect

  • Browsing data: page views, referrer, country, device. We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible) that does not set cookies and does not track individual users across sessions.
  • Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store your email address, the subscription timestamp, and an unsubscribe token. Nothing else.
  • Comments: if you leave a comment, your name (or pseudonym) and the comment body are public. We hash and store your IP for spam moderation; the hash is not reversible.
  • Server logs: standard web server logs (IP, user agent, request path) kept for 30 days for debugging and abuse mitigation.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share email addresses.
  • We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
  • We do not embed Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar trackers.
  • We do not require an account to read any tutorial.

Third parties

  • Plausible (analytics) — aggregate stats only, no personal data.
  • Mail provider (newsletter) — your email is stored to send you the newsletter and nothing else.
  • CDN/hosting — standard log retention for security and reliability.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your newsletter subscription at any time using the one-click unsubscribe in any email, or by emailing privacy@example.com. We will confirm deletion within seven days.

Comments can be deleted by emailing the same address with the URL where the comment appears.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will note the change at the top of this page and email anyone on the newsletter list.
